The only two Michelin Star restaurant in Portugal, Vila Joya offers an exclusive and intimate fine dining experience overlooking the Algarve coast. Award-winning chef Dieter Koschina cooks with creativity and passion serving up exquisite and delicious food with finesse.

With a view over the sea, this property is divided into a restaurant and bar. In the restaurant, with dining room and terrace, you can enjoy a diversity of fish and seafood caught daily in the Algarve coast. As shellfish we serve clams, lobster and crawfish (on request), prawns and tiger prawns. As fish, we have, dorade, sea bass, sea bream, red mullet, all grilled in the oven or on salt, are the preference of our customers.

With an excellent selection of wines and champagnes, and a personalized service, we provide unique experiences.

We are a Portuguese-German family and in 2001, we came from Cologne to the Algarve where the famous Fernando Lopes had spent his childhood. He always worked in gastronomic restaurants, gaining extensive experience. In the spring of 2006, he took over the beautiful Colina Verde restaurant in Algoz.  His passion, dedication and energy soon ensured that Colina Verde restaurant quickly gained a unique reputation in the Central and Western Algarve.
